Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS) conceives of every human being as a system of protective and wounded inner parts lead by a core Self. It is an evidence-based psychotherapy, helping people heal by accessing and healing their protective and wounded inner parts.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a form of talk therapy that helps people become aware of inaccurate or negative thought patterns, so that they can view challenging situations more clearly and respond to them in a more effective way.

Samantha has been trained in The Gottman Method for Health Relationships, which focuses on developing the skills and understanding necessary for partners to maintain fondness and admiration, turn toward each other to get their needs met, and manage conflict. It also focuses on how couples can react and repair relations when they do hurt each other.
